This 2,500-square-foot home on Lake St. Clair received a Nantucket-cottage-inspired makeover with a new lakefront elevation and a portico entrance on the grand porch. The new stone foundation, new siding, new roof and energy-efficient windows provide a brand-new look  and a unified design.

Originally built in the 1920’s, the home was always known by neighbors as ‘the house with the red front door.’ today, The epithet remains true today, with a fresh, red front door.
